Privacy Policy

Personal Finance Steward is a private, personal-use application operated by Dileep Varier.

Google data accessed

The application accesses only Google accounts explicitly authorised by the owner. Depending on the permission granted, it may read Gmail messages and attachments needed to identify financial statements and invoices, and access Google Drive to upload, find and organise the owner's finance documents.

How the data is used

Google user data is used only to collect authorised financial documents, maintain the owner's records, prepare reconciliation and review queues, and perform actions the owner requests. It is not sold, used for advertising or made available to the public.

Storage and service providers

Information may be stored in the owner's private cloud infrastructure and authorised storage accounts. Limited information may be processed by infrastructure and AI service providers solely to provide requested application functions. Access is restricted to the owner and service components acting on the owner's instructions.

Retention and deletion

Records are retained for the owner's personal finance administration until the owner deletes them. The owner can revoke Google access at any time from the Google Account permissions page and can request deletion of locally retained Google-derived data.

Google API Limited Use

The application's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
